I think this has been a long time coming! I haven’t uploaded a blog post in a long ol’ time and I’ve actually really missed it. To be completely honest, I haven’t had the time nor energy that is required to run a full time online space. However now I have left school and have way too much time on my hands, I can finally spend time building this little empire back up again! Give this post a little like if you’re excited!
So I finished school on Tuesday and I feel completely lost. I think it’s because I’ve spent 5 years in the same place and to move away from that is more difficult to come to terms with than I thought it ever would be! It feels weird not to be stressed. This past 3 months has been such a whirlwind, my mind hasn’t really been in the best place. I know I ramble on so much about how your well-being comes before anything else, but I haven’t really been following that at all and my revision has just taken over my whole mindset. I would go as far as to say that exam’s have consumed my entire being.
Overthinking is kind of my specialty and that proved to be quite unhelpful during exam season. I would overthink things from, am I even going to make new friends at sixth form? to am I actually going to fail all of my GCSEs. I feel like I haven’t had a life for 3 months and adjusting back into normal, stress-free, everyday life is so strange.
I just thought I would get those feelings off my chest before I continued looking back and some of the best memories and experiences of my life! I think I’m quite lucky to say that I actually really enjoyed school, most people I talk to don’t look back with many fond memories, but I have an abundance of them! Obviously I could never put them all into this blog post because we would be here for 5 years (literally) but I am going to just share a few pictures of all of my favourite people and times that I have shared with them!
So I’m well aware that is A LOT of pictures, but I wanted somewhere I could go and look back at all of my memories. All pf these people are the best most kind-hearted people I have ever met in my life and I’m so luck to call them friends! Thank you for the best 5 years!
So what does the future hold?! That’s such a huge question. I haven’t even decided which sixth form I want to go to yet! I’m so excited to meet new people, I love making new friends and this seems like the perfect opportunity to do so. I also can’t wait to study things I actually enjoy, instead of being forced to sit 18 exams in subjects that I hate with a passion. I do like my comfort zone, as does everyone, but I’m always up for a challenge and the future, to me, looks rather exciting!
I’m going to leave it there for today, I’m so sorry for the radio silence! It’s been super stressful and unfortunately my exams had to come first. But I’m back, better than ever and I’m so happy to be back blogging again. It’s my little baby and I would be nowhere without it!
See you soon, lot’s of love,
